News From The Black Country Heritage Lodge No. 9702 - February 2011
Our first ceremony of 2011 has set a fine start to the year. The ceremony of passing would itself have passed all standards with a fine example set by our Worshipful Master and carried through with his team, resulting in well deserved comments of praise from our members and visitors alike.

Our candidate Matthew had obviously put a lot of effort into learning his part which contributed to a most enjoyable ceremony for our brethren and our visitors. Well done Matthew.

True to tradition, the successful business of the evening was celebrated in our customary lively style at the festive board with a most enjoyable evening had by all.

With our second initiation of the year, planned for April 2011 and interest shown by other potential candidates, it is our intention to hold another a ‘Meet the Mason’s evening in May 2011.  This is an ideal opportunity for prospective candidates to come along and meet us both in the Lodge Room where we give an entertaining presentation on what Freemasonry is all about and answer all questions.  We continue to entertain our guests at the festive board where we treat them to our Black Country hospitality.

If you are not a mason and you are reading this with interest, why not contact us and we will be happy to invite you along to join us.
